Jenny Hoops, owner of Snowdog Audio, is a talented audiobook producer known for her exceptional storytelling skills and keen ear for sound design. With training in audio engineering and a passion for literature, she has brought numerous novels to life, captivating listeners with her engaging performances.

​

Jenny's early careers as a science technologist in Alberta, followed by a long career as an international motivational speaker, guided her to working with professional speakers and self-published authors. 

 

Over the years, Jenny has collaborated with various authors and publishers earning a reputation for her attention to detail and creative approach. Her dedication to the craft continues to inspire both aspiring narrators and audiobook enthusiasts alike.

 

She won her very first paid gig, as the voice of The Washington Post on Audible, where she learned the craft of reading non-fiction.

And during the six years of perfecting her Standard American accent, Jenny got to know hundreds of authors and small publishers, who all wanted the same thing: a professional-sounding audio edition of their books.

We are located near Bragg Creek, Alberta, Canada (Mountain Standard Time). As a strong supporter of Canadian book publishing, we are always looking for ways to partner with local authors and small presses. Snowdog Audio is a member of the Book Publishers Association of Alberta (BPAA).

And who is the Snowdog? The original Snowdog was Willow, who charmed the world with her dancing and songs. Our newest Snowdog, Happy, is our official greeter at the studio, and she makes sure recording authors remember to eat potato chips.
